Hello my fellow Beanie fans. I do hope you all had a wonderful and Happy Thanksgiving,
and I hope you all are not as stuffed as I am. Well with Thanksgiving behind us, it is now time to turn our thoughts
to jolly ole' Saint Nick and his Christmas pilgrimage, and speaking of pilgrimages, there seems to be a new trend
in the beanie world, and what trend is that you ask? It is the Beanie around the world program, which of course
I being a dedicated beanie fanatic have jumped on the bandwagon and as this goes to print I am expecting a much
traveled Spangle the American Bear, who is coming
to me from New York City. He originally comes from Plantation Florida, and by the time he gets back to Plantation
Florida he will have traveled from all over the US to Canada and Mexico. So once he arrives at my home, I will
call his mommy Ms.Adriana Horton and let her know he arrived safely, then a good nights rest and off to the Camp
Lejeune Marine Base (which I live near, of course my husband being a SGT in the Marine Corp) where we will visit
the
Beirut Memorial and take pictures, and then we will visit my husband and the other Sergeants at The Marine Combat
Training School Of Infantry where Spangle will take pictures with the Sgt.'s. Then a quick trip down to the ocean
for more photo op.'s and then back to my house for a few days of rest and relaxation with me and my family. Then
I will help Spangle write in his diary all of his activities while with us and of course I can't let Spangle leave
without a gift and what better way for Spangle to remember his visit than with a Marine key chain and copies of
the pictures I took of him, and
after I finish helping him pack I'll again call his mother and let her know he is on his way to his next destination
which is West Bridgewater MA.
I also await Kicks the Bear who will be visiting us from Georgia, and not to be left out I am arranging for my
little Millennium Bear to start a trip of his own, and am now taking names of people who would like to host Millennium
for me. Hosting a beanie is so much fun and a great learning tool, for you get to learn about the places that the
beanie has been before reaching you and a added bonus is making alot of great new beanie friends. So if this sounds
like something you would like to do please email me at:
Millennium_Styr2000@excite.com or fax me at the following
numbers:1-910-353-1553 or at 1-910-353-3986 with the following
information:
1. Your full name
2. Your address
3. Your email address
4. 3 references(preferably online references)if possible!
The references are for Millennium's protection, I want to get him back home after his travels,
and let's face it you have to be careful who's hands you put your beanies into these days.
5. Contact phone number.
I have had so much fun hosting, and you will too. I do hope most of you have the majority
of your Christmas shopping already done, because from now until CChristmas Eve it is going to be hectic out there.
But remember with the upcoming retirement of all Ty Beanie Babies, you can't go wrong with a Beanie Babie as a
gift. So until next time here's hoping you have a beaniful day!
Your Beanie Friend,
Starr Williams
