Animationalley.com - A Collector's Paradise is only a Click Away...

Westfield, NJ - It's an E-world after all and Animation Alley.com has proven this. Animation Alley.com, founded in mid-1997 in Westfield, New Jersey by Dana Tietsworth, is the Internet's leading shopping destination for fine art, TV / vintage prints, posters and collectibles. Animationalley.com features collectibles from major studios such as Disney, Warner Bros. and Hanna-Barbera, as well as fine art, posters and photography art from the Re Society and local artists such as Nichola Moss, Larry Kerner, Michael Fairchild and more.

Animation Alley began as a fun hobby and has blossomed into a profitable enterprise. "It really did start as a hobby for us," said Dana Tietsworth, Animation Alley's founder and site designer. "We've been collecting animation art for years. And with the onset of Internet, what better way to share our love of collecting vintage cartoon art than by building a site dedicated to our hobby, we thought."

Animation Alley.com has expanded dramatically this past year and is now receiving up to 1,500 unique visitors per week. The site also hosts an affiliate program, launched in 1998, and currently has more than 300 Animationalley.com affiliates who earn cash for featuring Animation Alley on their collectibles-related sites.

Animation Alley.com is not just about selling stuff, either. A section of the site and it's sister site, Animation Alley.net (still under development), provide Collector Exchanges where individual collectors can post their collectibles for sale or trade. "It's been great" said Mrs. Tietsworth, "we've had customers tell us that they have sold everything from $50 sericels to $5,000 vintage Disney production art using our WebLink Animation Art Collector's Exchange."

As forerunners in the on-line collecting community, the site also sponsors two collecting clubs dedicated to animation art and Wee Forest Folk collectibles. In addition, Mrs. Tietsworth serves as an advisor to other collectors on expertcentral.com.

According to Mrs. Tietsworth, "The testimonials we get from our customers are nothing but positive. We provide top rate service to our customers as well as a diversified selection of quality collectibles. Customers can track their packages via our site; subscribe to our locator service for hard-to-find collectibles and just for a break, they can play our weekly trivia contest. Customers like our site because it is so dynamic - it's being updated all the time!"
