In celebration of Barbie doll's 40th anniversary, designer Bob Mackie pulled out all the stops to create Le Papillon Barbie - his fantasy image of the shimmering wonder of a butterfly. Barbie is draped in a dramatic, full-length, strapless, fitted gown of velvety black with circular train and black stockings. Her slim silhouette is adorned with pink and silvery embroidery, and two shimmering rose-colored rhinestones. Large black butterfly wings with silvery and rose-tinted embroidery, speckled with matching rhinestones coordinate with her dress.
